Things you need to know about me?
Married 11 years. 3 kids, J is 8, A is 6 and baby M is 2.
We live in a small rural community. I recently lost my job after 9 years with the company. Prior to that I worked in the same field at another company for 5 years. With not many options available locally, I turned to blogging to fill a void that working had filled.
I love anything crafty. Scrapbooking being my absolute favorite. I love reading about personal finance and aim to make that a priority in my life. I also have a great group of girlfriends, most of which I have known my entire life (small town, remember) We have a great time together and without them, my life would actually suck.
So that sums up the purpose of my starting a blog. To write about family, finance and fun.
Random facts: I love Friends and Seinfeld. I once won a writing contest when I was 8. I have a sarcastic sense of humor. I am cynical by nature. I don’t trust easily and I never forget. I don’t like to hug anyone. I do love chips and ice cream and would hug them if that wasn’t weird. I like to consider myself to be independent, but only until dark because I have seen way too many bad TV shows and am now am scared of the dark. I’m claustrophobic.

You don’t like to hug? I’ll try to remember that if we ever meet as I tend to hug everyone! Well, I actually didn’t hug the bloggers I met recently from WorkSaveLive and MarriedWithDebt, BUT….I also hadn’t gotten my daily sprinkle that day. Lol…Weird how much more confident I am (and huggy I am) when I get to shower!

Cool to learn a bit more about you Crystal. That blog star link up thing sounds like an interesting concept. Mmmm chips and ice cream. I love that stuff, maybe a little too much cause my naturopath made me go on a cleanse from that kind of food lol. I tried to like you on facebook with my blog’s account, but it looks like it doesn’t count towards your totals. It can be a bit tricky to build up a facebook following in a niche where lots of people try to separate it from their real life. I would at least make the widget not so tall 🙂
