Back to reality. I’m just a mom again.

12 Mar

Hey all!! Long time, no connect-o! I do apologize but with all the craziness of the past year, it was let things go or my mind was gonna go. I chose to stay sane (as much as I could, I’m sure there are plenty who disagree that I did) so that meant focusing only on the most important.

BUT— I am done school. Yes, I passed! Booyahhhhh.

So now I get to go back to the simple everyday life of being a mom. Simple, it is not, as many moms will correct me, but simpler for now is what it is. And I couldn’t be happier….right?

Happier that things have slowed down and my focus can adjust back to my family and my kids and my friends. But wow..these kids sure wear a person out. My daughter took $20 to the book fair at school today to come home with a plaster handprint kit and a kitty poster. There were NO words or anything to do with reading involved in this crap. To top it off, when she asked me to help her with the mold I was doing dishes so i told her to read me the instructions so we can get ready. Suprise, Suprise when she didn’t want to read them and wanted me to. Hell to the NO. This is the only educational part of this product that you bought at a school book fair, you’re gonna read all those to me on your own. I want my $20 worth of education here!

Oh lord. I will survive parenting this child.

Yeah, um…that’s all I got. You’re on your own with the hand thing.
